CARGO tank manufacturer Tremcar held a special event March 15 to celebrate the production and delivery of its 20,000th tank trailer. The DOT407 stainless steel trailer was built for Transwood Inc, Omaha NE.

The trailer was fabricated at Tremcar’s stainless steel tank plant in Iberville, Quebec, Canada. On hand to accept the trailer at the special celebration was Brian Wood, President of Transwood Inc, a tank truck carrier based in Omaha, Nebraska.

Daniel Tremblay, president of Tremcar, explained that more than 50 Tremcar employees were involved in the design and construction of the trailer. “From drawings, to purchasing parts for its construction, to the day-laborers, and the welders, our team was involved in every aspect of building this trailer,” he said.

“Tremcar is a family company, and this is what differentiates us from our competitors,” Tremblay, said. “The meaning of family is a lot more then just a unit of related people. It is about caring and supporting each other. I think Our values are very similar to those of Brian Wood’s family, and I am very proud they will carry our 20,000th trophy home with them.

More than 200 customers attended the celebration. Activities included tours of the Tremcar plants in Iberville and St Cesaire, Quebec. While the Iberville plant focuses on stainless steel cargo tanks, the St Cesaire location produces aluminum liquid and dry bulk tanks, as well as a wide range of parts for all of the tanks built by Tremcar.
