Stainless Steel OMC Custom Fabrication in Turlock now sells and services the Canadian manufacturer’s food-grade tank trailers.

Tremcar recently signed a new dealership agreement with Stainless Steel OMC Custom Fabrication, which is based in Turlock, California, for the sale of food-grade tank trailers. With over 30 years of industry expertise, OMC’s professional team boasts a reputation for excellence, serving numerous industrial and commercial clients from their tank repair shop in Turlock, Tremcar reported.

The tanker manufacturer was particularly impressed with the experience and knowledge of OMC’s owner, Edward Ochoa, and his son, Eddie Ochoa, who bring deep insights into the food-grade tanker industry. “We aim to build strong relationships in the markets we develop,” Daniel Tremblay, Tremcar president, said in a news release. “We don’t just want to sell tanker trailers—we want to provide exceptional service and support to our customers for the long term. Having knowledgeable partners like OMC to represent the Tremcar brand is essential.

“We deliver quality tankers, and OMC delivers quality service to match. They’re dedicated to helping the tank-hauling industry succeed, offering repairs and modifications to maximize customer efficiency.”

OMC Tank Repair Shop officially opened for business in 2006 and has earned a stellar reputation for quality, professionalism, and time-efficient service, Tremcar added. Specializing in stainless steel tanks, OMC stands out as one of the region’s premier service providers.

“I was truly impressed by the craftsmanship and innovative production techniques at Tremcar’s headquarters in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec,” Eddy Ochoa said after visiting the facility where all of Tremcar’s stainless steel food-grade tanks have been manufactured since 1962. “Tremcar is by far the best tanker trailer manufacturer in the industry.

“Their quality is unmatched, and their state-of-the-art production facility is a testament to their commitment to excellence.”

North American expansion

Over the past year, Tremcar has significantly expanded its food-grade production plant, adding 50,000 sq. ft. of production space to its existing 140,000-sq.-ft. facility. This investment includes cutting-edge technology to address the skilled labor shortage, such as a welding school combined with robotics, which is boosting production capacity.

The company also grew its U.S. sales team, adding six new sales representatives and industry experts to expand its market share.

New sales manager

Announced in October 2024, Luke Burnham is Tremcar’s senior sales manager covering the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, and Nevada. He brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the tank truck and trailer industry. With a strong background in truck-mounted hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, Burnham hit the ground running with the goal of expanding Tremcar’s market presence.

Tremcar on tour

Tremcar and OMC will showcase their new partnership and products in February at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. Visitors are invited to stop by and experience firsthand the quality of Tremcar’s tank trailers.

More announcements regarding Tremcar’s expansion are expected in coming months.
