John F Cannon, formerly vice-president of sales and marketing for Brenner Tank, a division of Walker Group Holdings, has been promoted to vice-president of engineering for Walker Group Holdings-Transport Division. Cannon, who has been with Brenner for 22 years, will continue to be based in Fond du Lac WI.

Champion Laboratories Inc has added Michael Tate as director of sales-heavy-duty, responsible for sales of Luber-finer products in the heavy-duty aftermarket in the United States and Canada. He previously was general manager-aftermarket for Mahle North America, Morristown TN, and held sales and management positions at SPX, Phillips Temro, Dorman Products, and Parker Hannifin.

John Wall, Cummins vice-president and chief technical officer, has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering. The academy honored Wall for his “leadership and management of research, design, development, and production of low-emission, fuel-efficient heavy-duty diesel engines.” Wall joined Cummins in 1986 as an engineer in its Engine Business and has led the firm's worldwide technical organization since March 2000.

Elemica has named a new executive management team following the merger with RubberNetwork. The team includes: Brad Delizia, senior vice-president, general counsel and business development; Rich Katz, senior vice-president product management; Scott Miltenberger, chief financial officer; and Alok Saxena, chief technology officer. Customer facing and commercial teams will be organized regionally with these appointments: Dan Haas, senior vice-president Americas; Nicola Hughes, senior vice-president Commercial Europe; Sergio Juarez, senior vice-president Sourcing Europe; and Brian Selby, senior vice-president Asia.

The OES Business of Webb Wheel Products has hired Michael Keyes as OES sales manager, western states. He joins Webb after six years as district manager for Paccar Parts, where he managed aftermarket parts and service sales for 16 Kenworth heavy-truck dealerships. Keyes will report directly to Ken Kelley, vice-president. Webb's Aftermarket Business has hired Jared Ridenour to fill the newly created position of fleet sales manager. Ridenour has represented companies in the heavy-truck industry for more than 10 years, most recently as division manager for Eastern States Friction LLC.

Consolidated Metco Inc (ConMet) has appointed Larry Sanford vice-president/new business development. He will relocate to the company's headquarters in Vancouver WA. Sanford most recently served as director/new business development. He will continue to report to Mark Wagner, vice-president/general manager of ConMet's Wheel End Business Unit.

AmeriQuest Transportation Services has recruited three new sales directors for its Supply Management Program sales team. Kevin Fessler handles sales in the West Region, which covers 11 Western states. He comes to the firm from Ryder Transportation Services, where he served as customer development manager. James E “Jim” Shea Jr is responsible for customers in the South Central Region. He previously served in managerial positions with Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products. Robert J “Bob” Carlucci manages the Great Lakes Region. He was formerly a national sales director with SKF USA Inc.
