Program sponsor Rosslare Europort recently acknowledged South Coast Logistics’ continued investment and progress in expanding its facilities, fleet, and services with its Fleet Transport Irish Hauler of the Year award for 2025.

Representatives from the Irish ISO tank specialist accepted the prize Oct. 10 during the 18th Fleet Transport Awards Gala Banquet.

Earlier in the evening, the family-owned firm won the National Hauler title.

On receiving these awards, Richie O’Flynn, South Coast commercial director, expressed his immense pride, saying he and his team were “over the moon” to win what is widely regarded as the most prestigious prize in the Irish road transport industry. “Winning these awards is a tremendous achievement,” O’Flynn said in a news release. “Securing the National title of Hauler of the Year 2025 is special, but being named the Overall Irish Hauler of the Year 2025 is truly extraordinary.

“These recognitions are a testament to the hard work and dedication of two generations of our family business, which my parents founded in 1975. We continue to uphold their principles of innovation and exceptional service while focusing on future growth and investment beyond our Fermoy headquarters.”

South Coast offers many services, including depot facilities, dry bulk, chemical, waste, and flexitank transport. The business also provides consultancy services in all areas of road transport and logistics. This state-of-the-art facility will offer a comprehensive range of services, including storage for over 220 laden and empty TEUs, tank container lifting, washing, heating, repair, maintenance, and logistical support—all within a single, fully integrated and regulated site.

“Heartiest congratulations to South Coast Logistics, most deserved winners of the Irish Hauler of the Year award,” said Jarlath Sweeney, group editor for fleet publications.

“The progress and expansion of the company has been phenomenal and the method of how day-to-day operations nationwide is impressive. We will be hearing a lot more about this company in years to come.”
