Heil Trailer International announced that Yassir Shanshal is the new vice-president of product development. He will work out of the Global Support Center

Heil Trailer International announced that Yassir Shanshal is the new vice-president of product development. He will work out of the Global Support Center in Cleveland TN reporting to Greg Hewitt, company president. Shanshal joins Heil from Case New Holland Ltd, where his most recent position was director of product development. Troy Hradsky has joined Heil as a regional sales representative. With 16 years of experience in the tank trailer industry, he will report to Jay Morfitt, director-sales and marketing, North America, and will be based in the Minneapolis MN area.

Polar Corporation has named Michael Warren director of marketing for Polar Service Centers, and he will be based in St Cloud MN. Warren joins Polar from Oshkosh Corp, where he directed aftermarket parts and service sales for McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing. Polar Tank Trailer has named Denis Grossen as its new vice-president of engineering. He joins the firm after serving as senior director of engineering for Force Protection Industries, a manufacturer of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.

Hutchens Industries announces the promotion of Taylor Hutchens to its sales team as regional manager for these states: Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. He has worked at Hutchens for more than a year in various manufacturing-related positions.

J J Keller & Associates Inc recently promoted Roger E Porath to executive vice-president-finance. He most recently was director of accounting/corporate controller. Webb A Shaw was promoted to vice-president-editorial resources. His most recent position was director of editorial resources. Rustin R Keller, whose most recent position was director of Internet products, was named vice-president-business services. Keller also named Amy B Sabourin vice-president-human resource services. She previously served four years at Hewitt Associates and 14 years at Faith Technologies Inc.

Dennis C Cooke has joined Ryder System Inc's Fleet Management Solutions business segment as senior vice-president and chief of operations, United States and Canada. He joins Ryder after a 22-year career with GE, most recently as president and chief executive officer of GE Security's Homeland Protection business, which was sold to Safran group in 2009 and renamed Morpho Detection Inc. Cooke continued serving as president and CEO and was named a board director.

DM2 Software Inc announced that Wayne Harrison has joined its professional services consulting team responsible for working with new and existing customers on project planning and management, system implementations, and training. He spent the past two years as a senior business consultant implementing software systems for the convenience-store industry at Series2K.

Grote Industries announced that Ken Hoskins will become plant manager for Madison IN operations. He will report to Tom Blades, vice-president of operations for Grote; Gary Liter, David Hocking, Debbie Courtney, and Jim Plum will report to Hoskins. He has previously been production manager at UGN and plant supervisor at the Kentucky Steel Center.

Eric J Emerson, former president of Tidewater Transit Inc, has established the Tressler Transportation Law Group in Chicago IL as part of the larger Tressler LLP firm. The Tressler Transportation Law Group provides corporate counsel and risk management services to trucking companies and freight intermediaries.
