NTTC cancels 2020 Safety & Security Council Annual Meeting

April 29, 2020
COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on industry events

National Tank Truck Carriers announced late last week that it was canceling the 2020 Safety & Security Council Annual Meeting scheduled for June 16-18 in Biloxi MS. Association officials said the overwhelming impact of the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible to hold the conference in June.

“While a difficult and disappointing decision, we remain committed to following best practices to ensure that members of tank truck nation are not unnecessarily placed in harms way,” said Daniel Furth, NTTC president. “We will refund all Safety & Security Council Annual Meeting registrations and exhibitors the full amount (with no cancellation fees) by May 31.”

Looking forward, NTTC plans to reschedule elements of the association’s Annual Conference and the Safety & Security Council Meeting during Tank Truck Week 2020, October 6-8 in Dallas TX. NTTC will announce those details as soon as they are confirmed.
