The Hoyer Group, a leading service provider for liquid bulk logistics, recently expanded and extended its capacity with the grand reopening of its network partner cotac in Houston.
Cotac is Hoyer’s global service network for integral services, offering facilities related to cleaning, workshops, and the storage of liquid bulk equipment. Cotac’s Houston site celebrated the grand reopening with clients, prospects, and co-workers on Oct. 3 following extensive renovation and expansion work, the company reported.
“This refurbished site will ensure that the facility meets the needs of our customers for the next 30 years and beyond,” Jesse Gomez, cotac manager, said in a news release.
The project included modernizing the wash facilities to offer superior cleans, while further minimizing environmental impact, Hoyer said.
“At this site, we now can also offer new services like loaded storage, ensuring our customers’ deliveries can be stored safely within close proximity to both the Port of Houston and their end customers,” explained Patrick de Heide, Hoyer’s director for North America.
Through the installation of almost 9 acres of concrete, inspection lanes, an 18-lane steam heating station, and a refitment of most systems and structures on site, cotac now is able to provide increased productivity and quality.
“We are excited about the upgraded depot and the incremental value it brings to our business and our customers,” Gomez said. “We are delivering a depot facility that enhances our services with great efficiency. We are delighted about the benefits our expanded service offerings provide for the Hoyer Group, our other existing customers, and our future customers.”
Added Hoyer CEO Björn Schniederkötter: “By investing in this huge refurbishment project, we are reaffirming our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service all around the globe.”
