Bill Stone retires this month after 12 years as president of Brenner Tank Services. He came to Brenner in 1996 after many years in the tank trailer industry for the purpose of establishing the Services group. Rick Peterson is being promoted to president of Brenner Tank Services. He has been with the company since November 2005 as vice president of purchasing and materials management. Harry Anderson has joined Brenner as director of supply chain management, coming to the firm from Alto Sham, a manufacturer of commercial food equipment, where he was manager of purchasing and logistics.

D. Mike Pennington, ArvinMeritor's senior director of global marketing communications and industry relations for Commercial Vehicle Systems, was awarded this year's Lifetime Achievement Award by the Truck Writers of North America (TWNA) at the group's annual banquet at the 2008 Mid-America Trucking Show. Pennington began his trucking industry career on the editorial staff of Memphis TN-based Southern Motor Cargo magazine. In 1985, he joined ArvinMeritor, when it was still Rockwell Automotive, as manager of product publicity and business relations. ArvinMeritor has appointed Larry Burgin vice president and general manager-Trailer Products, under the Commercial Vehicle Systems business unit. Most recently, Burgin served as general manager-direct materials optimization for the company's Performance Plus program.

Safety Vision has added Michael Ondruch as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Safety Vision, Ondruch held CFO posts at Victory Packaging and Academy Sports & Outdoors.

Caterpillar Inc. announced that Bill Fulton has been appointed marketing manager for Global On-Highway, replacing Steve Brown, who has retired. Fulton will be returning to Peoria IL from his current assignment as manager of the Global On-Highway Group for the Asia/Pacific Division of Caterpillar based in Melbourne, Australia.
