The FLASH family of companies, which includes dry bulk hauler FLASH Trucking, this year is celebrating 40 years of transportation achievements in a significant milestone for the Green Lake, Wisconsin-based company.
To mark the occasion, company leaders, including owners Pat and Lynn McConnell, recently honored the drivers and employees whose dedication and commitment have been instrumental in the company’s success. The event spotlighted members of FLASH’s President’s Safe Driving Club, which includes drivers with five-plus years of recognition from the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association.
FLASH also honored drivers with 1, 2, and 3 million accident-free miles.
“These drivers exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and safety, serving as role models within the transportation industry,” the company said in a news release.
Additionally, the celebration highlighted employees with 15-plus years of service.
“FLASH is proud to have 20 current employees with more than 15 years of tenure—totaling 526 years of experience,” the company reported. “Their dedication has been a driving force behind the company’s growth and evolution from a humble three-truck operation started in McConnell’s home, to the thriving business it is today. The FLASH family expands across the U.S. beyond trucking, including transloading, sand mining, warehousing, railcar management, and the local grocery store in Green Lake.”
