Doran Manufacturing recently partnered with Uptake Technologies to enhance tire safety and fuel efficiency for fleets of all sizes.
When combined with Uptake Analytics, the Doran 360 tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) provides data-driven insights that help prevent unplanned failures, reduce tire wear, and increase fuel efficiency for on- and off-road assets, the companies said. The combination of these two systems provides users with advanced analytics that identify potential issues before they cause unplanned downtime, allowing for greater control of fleet health.
Uptake’s predictive analytics detects potential tire issues early, proving actionable insights that help prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. With Doran data feeding Uptake analytics, fleets of all sizes can achieve greater reliability, reduce tire failures, and endure optimal tire performance across all vehicles.

By continuously monitoring tire pressure and temperature, the Doran 360 system provides a robust data set for Uptake to analyze. The Uptake system combs through anonymized data to determine if there is any deviation from the statistical methodology. If so, an insight is issued to the user. Insights identify whether a situation requires immediate action or if it can be safely dealt with at the next maintenance interval, thus putting drivers at ease.
In addition to monitoring the tire pressure data, Uptake monitors the sensors as well, detecting sensor issues that may lead to inaccuracies, and ensures the reliability and accuracy of the sensors and the data they provide.
