Heniff Transportation Systems’ Heniff Logistics subsidiary recently launched a new website to help facilitate customer access to the company’s brokerage, which has experienced “significant” growth as North American supply-chain challenges continue to create issues for carriers and shippers, the company said.
“Heniff Logistics offers our customers true distribution options as we continue to experience capacity constraints and surging transportation costs across the supply chain,” said Bob Heniff, Heniff founder and CEO. “Given the scope of our North American network, our team is able to work closely with our shippers to develop both asset-based and non-asset based solutions across several sub-segments of trucking.”
The Heniff Logistics group was established in 2019 through the combination of brokerage services that resulted from Heniff’s consolidation efforts within the tank truck industry. Today, the logistics team is comprised of more than 20 experienced professionals managing a run-rate of nearly 20,000 loads per year for the company’s blue-chip customers. The group offers shippers a single-source solution for their North American distribution needs, while simplifying the shipping experience with multi-modal options and real-time visibility.
“We are very pleased with the trajectory of our logistics service offering for our customers,” said Brian Fonorow, president of Heniff Logistics. “Our team is able to leverage Heniff’s unique operating network to mitigate some of the current market challenges for shippers, while we’ve also been able to expand our non-tank truck services, producing a balanced mix of tank and van truckloads.”
