The Arkansas Oil Marketers Association (AOMA) recently named Texas TransEastern (TTE) driver Michael Robinson its 2022 Driver of the Year.

The annual award, presented during the association’s yearly convention and ACES Expo, recognizes a single driver who demonstrates exceptional professional qualifications, experience, and performance.

“Michael’s commitment to his work and dedication to safety is inspiring to everyone at TTE,” said J.J. Isbell, TTE president.

“He’s proven that exceeding expectations means aiming higher and working harder.

“We are incredibly proud of Michael, and we wish him continued success.”

Robinson’s career in transportation spans nearly 30 years, with roles in marketing and driving, TTE said. He joined TTE in 2016 and today not only drives for the company, but also trains incoming delivery professionals.

“I try my best to go above and beyond every day, making sure I’m always in touch and following safety protocols,” said Robinson, who works in TTE’s Little Rock, Ark. operation. “It’s already rewarding to know I’m doing a good job for our customers, but to be named Driver of the Year is a true honor.

“I’m grateful to the AOMA and to TTE for supporting me in my career.”
