Quala recently absorbed two California tank washes.
North America’s largest independent provider of tank cleaning, among other services, acquired a tank wash in Oakland, Calif., formerly operated by HTI, and a cleaning facility in Walnut, Calif., operated by Bulk Transportation.
With the two latest additions, Quala operates in more than 80 service locations throughout North America, according to the company.
“We look forward to bringing these locations into the Quala family,” said Jeff Noble, executive vice president of North American operations. “Both locations offer a full line of services to include cleaning, product heating, specialized preps, ample paved parking, and onsite tenant opportunities.
“These acquisitions allow us to expand our service offerings in both markets to support our customers while improving market capacity.”
Quala recently introduced its FastTrax service, which takes advantage of ultra-high cleaning pressures and advanced automation to clean tanks faster and more thoroughly, in Rahway, N.J., and La Porte, Texas; and plans to add more FastTrax locations in Baton Rouge, La., Chicago, Il., and Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
The FastTrax systems incorporates Groninger's tank cleaning technology, which long has been a hit in the industry internationally.
Quala provides services to multiple industrial verticals, including cleaning, testing and repairs for tank trailers, ISO containers, IBCs and railcars.
