EnTrans International recently appointed Ed Ridge as general manager at its Juarez trailer operations (JTO), which is the largest tank trailer manufacturing facility in North America.
The company’s Heil Trailer, Polar Tank Trailer and Jarco products are built at the Juarez plant.
“To join such a dedicated team as we have here at the Juarez plant is truly a great opportunity,” Ridge said. “JTO is one of the most innovative facilities of its kind, and I look forward to working with the team and continuing to manufacture some of the best products in the industry.”
The appointment is part of a larger restructuring of the Juarez management team, EnTrans said. Ridge boasts more than 30 years of experience in aerospace, engineering, machining and metal processing. Most recently, he was executive vice president/GM at MB Aerospace. Ridge holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. He also is Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified.
