Leading Mid-Atlantic petroleum hauler modernizes operations with Titan Cloud’s advanced supply and logistics capabilities

Mid-Atlantic petroleum hauler Quest Transport recently selected Titan Cloud’s downstream fuel platform to transform delivery operations and accelerate growth by streamlining logistics, enhancing fuel accuracy, and improving agility.

“Quest Transport is poised to unlock new levels of agility, growth, and operational performance with the Titan Cloud platform,” Paul Lauinger, Titan Cloud vice president of sales in North America, said in a news release. “By streamlining their operations and optimizing their fuel delivery processes, they will be able to deliver fuel faster, more accurately, and with greater flexibility.

“This partnership will not only help Quest Transport scale their business but also set a new standard for excellence in the fuel logistics industry.”

As a subsidiary of Petroleum Marketing Group, one of the largest petroleum wholesalers on the East Coast, Quest Transport operates a fleet of over 100 tractors, manages a network of 50-plus third-party carriers, and delivers “billions of gallons” of fuel annually to thousands of fuel sites across the eastern United States. As Quest looks to drive growth and enhance operational efficiency, Titan Cloud’s supply and logistics capabilities will help equip the company with modern tools to streamline fuel delivery, optimize dispatching, and significantly enhance the customer experience, the companies said.

Key benefits of Titan Cloud’s platform include:

  • Optimized dispatching and logistics: Titan Cloud’s real-time dispatching system will streamline route planning, minimize empty miles, and enhance driver efficiency. With automated load assignments and centralized carrier management, Quest will ensure timely fuel deliveries with maximum operational efficiency.
  • Advanced inventory and forecasting: Leveraging AI-driven forecasting, Quest will benefit from automated, prioritized order generation, improving fuel availability and reducing operational delays.
  • Back-office automation: The platform’s automated bill of lading reconciliation, invoice generation, and exception management will reduce errors, speed up financial processes, and ensure smooth, accurate operations from start to finish.
  • Enhanced carrier management: Titan Cloud’s tools enable Quest to negotiate better rates and manage carrier contracts more effectively, with performance tracking and exception reporting to ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy.

Previously, Quest relied on outdated, labor-intensive on-premise systems for critical tasks like dispatching, billing, and load reconciliation, leading to operational bottlenecks and a heightened risk of errors. By adopting Titan Cloud’s cloud-based platform, Quest will replace these manual processes with real-time visibility and automated workflows, allowing them to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve accuracy, Titan Cloud reported. With enhanced control and transparency, Quest is now positioned for “faster, more efficient growth” across its entire operation.

“We are thrilled to partner with Titan Cloud as we embark on the next phase of our growth,” said Christopher Gibson, Quest vice president. “Their platform will not only help us eliminate inefficiencies in our current processes but will also allow us to improve our customer service with timely and accurate reconciliation, helping us scale faster.”
