The American Chemistry Council (ACC) recently certified Grammer Logistics as a Responsible Care Partner.
The ACC program extends Responsible Care’s ethic of safety and sustainability to organizations in the chemical supply chain, including logistics, transportation, and distribution. Partners adhere to the same Responsible Care commitments as manufacturing members. The voluntary certification program recognizes industry leaders focused on safety, transparency, and sustainability in the chemical and bulk goods industry. Certified companies meet and exceed the highest standards of environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) performance in the marketplace. Audits and regular assessments ensure compliance with the Responsible Care Partner Program throughout partner organizations.
“We are proud to be recognized as a Responsible Care certified partner,” Grammer CEO Scott Dobak said in a news release. “This achievement is a testament to Grammer’s culture of excellence in the services and safety we consistently deliver to the marketplace. The disciplines of the program will continue to enhance our operations, enhancing safety, sustainability, and service quality.
“This milestone reinforces our long-term commitment to being a trusted transportation partner to our customers.”
Responsible Care Partners include logistics management companies, terminal operators, equipment suppliers, distributors, rail carriers, service providers, warehousing companies, and tank truck carriers, who make up the largest group in the program with 45 certified Partners.
“American Chemistry Council commends Grammer Logistics on recently obtaining certification to the Responsible Care Management System (RCMS),” said Dan Roczniak, Responsible Care senior director. “Grammer Logistics was able to complete this process on an accelerated schedule, demonstrating its commitment to environmental, health, safety, and security excellence.
“ACC looks forward to continued contributions by Grammer Logistics to the success of its Responsible Care Partner Program.”
