After receiving the largest contract to date in 2023, Quantum Fuel Systems recently obtained a second virtual-pipeline-trailer order from VoltaGrid, an advanced energy management and generation company.
Quantum expects to deliver its VPLite 45/40 natural gas trailers throughout 2024.
“Our goal is to provide customers like VoltaGrid with solutions that help drive down operational costs and enhance productivity for a cleaner, more sustainable future,” Steve Toelke, Quantum senior vice president and general manager for infrastructure, said in a news release. “After placing the largest single order of VPLite 45/40 in Quantum’s history last year, we’re thrilled VoltaGrid once again chose our trailers for their increased needs.

The trailers are compliant with U.S. and Canadian load requirements and designed for customers who need a smaller, lighter trailer that is easily maneuvered in tight areas.
