Registration now is open for the National Tank Truck Carriers’ 2020 Annual Conference and Exhibits.

NTTC will celebrate 75 years of championing safety and success in the tank truck industry during the event, set for May 3-5, 2020, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC.

The show is billed as one of the premiere events in the tank truck industry, featuring talks on industry trends, major safety award ceremonies, impactful committee decision making, and an exhibit hall filled with companies from across the industry.

NTTC said it also plans to start a new tradition, revealing the winners of the North American Safety Award live during the conference, in addition to recognizing the Professional Tank Truck Diver of the Year grand champion. These awards are intended to celebrate the companies and drivers “at the apex of safety.”

“We hope you join us in Washington DC as we look back on the history of this organization, and take the next step into the future of a safer and more successful industry,” NTTC said.

The preliminary agenda for the conference includes chemical and dry bulk committee meetings, chairman’s reception and opening night celebration May 3; Tank Truck Driver of the Year award ceremony, a keynote speaker and NTTC PAC reception May 4; and an appearance by Elaine Chao, US Secretary of Transportation, on May 5.

Conference sponsors include ACT 1, Heil Trailer, Quala and Great West Casualty Company.
