Hoyer gains 5-year extension of ExxonMobil contract in Germany
Logistics expert Hoyer has obtained an early five-year extension of the contract with the petroleum company ExxonMobil Central Europe Holding GmbH, which originally ran until 2018. This means Hoyer Mineralöl-Logistik GmbH will continue to supply fuel to around 600 Esso service stations in northern, western, and eastern Germany until mid-2023.
Hoyer has already delivered fuel to ExxonMobil since the year 2000, for which it operates 45 trucks every day. The Hamburg, Germany, logistics company previously announced in 2015 an early extension of the existing contract with ExxonMobil by three years until mid-2018. The Hoyer Group has now been able to follow up this success, and this time has even agreed a five-year extension.
Volker Schmitz, managing director of Hoyer Mineralöl-Logistik GmbH, says: “We are delighted that both partners agreed to extend the contract at such an early stage. It shows we have done good work in the past few years. Our aim remains to guarantee supplies to Esso service stations on a long-term basis and with a high level of service.”
