Beall Corporation announces the opening of a new facility at 1070 West 2100 South in Salt Lake City UT. The 32,000-square-foot building situated on five acres features 20 service bays and more than 10,000 square feet of parts showroom and warehouse. It will become the central parts distribution center for Beall's six factories and 13 parts and service centers. It will also carry Beall's full line of tank, bulk hauling, and construction equipment.
Founded in 1905, Beall manufactures tank trailers, pneumatics, dump bed, and bottom dump trailers in several plants in the western United States. These products are built in Portland and Salem (Pioneer Truckweld) OR, Sunnyside WA, Billings MT, Turlock CA, and Phoenix AZ (K & H Manufacturing). Beall's Parts and Service Centers are in Kent and Sunnyside WA; Portland OR; Billings MT; Dickinson ND; Denver CO; Salt Lake City UT; Phoenix AZ; and Bloomington, Turlock, Fresno, Oakland (Trailco), and Sacramento (Pacific Truck Tank) CA.
The Utah expansion increases Beall's repair capability to 164 service bays with 160 mechanics and welders. All shops are ASME-certified “R Stamp” facilities specializing in tank testing, repair, fabrication work, and major wreck rebuilds for all types of trailers. Beall is a member of the VIPAR Heavy Duty Network.
