The Hoyer Group recently acquired Chilean company Inter-Tank in a move that strengthens Hoyer’s market presence in Chile, its global network, and its capabilities in the liquid bulk and flexitank logistics sector.
Inter-Tank, based in Santiago de Chile, is a provider of Flexitank logistics solutions in South America. The acquisition expands Hoyer’s regional presence, enabling more comprehensive and efficient logistics solutions for customers.
“The acquisition of Inter-Tank is a crucial step for the Hoyer Group to expand our global network and solidify our position as a global flexitank logistics provider,” Hoyer CEO Björn Schniederkötter said in a news release.
With Inter-Tanks’s thermoliner technology, Hoyer now can offer new innovations to its customers firsthand on a global level, the company added.
“We are excited to integrate Inter-Tanks’s expertise and welcome over 30 new colleagues with extensive experience in Chile’s wine and oil markets,” said Paco Koudstaal, Hoyer regional director for Latin America.

Additionally, Hoyer opened a new office in February in Colombia focused on ISO tank business that also expands its portfolio locally to include flexitank, gas, IBC tote, and trucking services. “I am thrilled to offer the Hoyer Group's services to our current and new customers in Colombia,” said Isabel Londoño, Hoyer country manager for Colombia.
