OPW Fluid Transfer Group, a Dover Company, has named Ross Pliska vice-president of its Transportation Business Unit. He assumed his new responsibilities

OPW Fluid Transfer Group, a Dover Company, has named Ross Pliska vice-president of its Transportation Business Unit. He assumed his new responsibilities effective January 1, 2012, and will report directly to Tim Warning, OPWFTG president. Pliska, who joined Dover in 2003, most recently was vice-president of international sales for Norris Production Solutions, a Dover Company.

Gardner Denver Inc announced the appointment of Susan Gunn as vice-president, human resources of the company effective January 1, 2012. She will report to Barry L Pennypacker, president and chief executive officer, and will be based at the company's global headquarters in Wayne PA.

Stephen Yonce has been promoted to vice-president of truck financial services for the US division of Volvo Financial Services. He has been with the unit since 1997 in both sales and operations roles and will report to Tom Guse, president of the US division of Volvo Financial Services.

Mack Trucks Inc announced that effective January 1, 2012, Kevin Flaherty has been named president of North American Sales & Marketing. In this capacity, Flaherty will be responsible for all of the company's North American commercial activities. He will continue to report to Dennis Slagle, who as part of a recently announced reorganization has been promoted to Volvo Group executive vice-president for Trucks Sales & Marketing Americas.

Volvo Trucks announced that effective January 1, 2012, Ron Huibers has been named president of North American Sales & Marketing with responsibility for all of the company's commercial activities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

J J Keller and Associates Inc has announced that James J Keller, the company's current president and chief operating officer, will succeed his brother Robert L Keller as president/chief executive office effective January 1, 2012. Robert L Keller has held the role of CEO since 1988, and will remain chairman of the board of directors.

Phillips Industries has hired Tom Pittam to fill the new position of Southeast Asia sales manager. He will report directly to Travis Hopkey, global business development manager. For 12 years before joining Phillips, Pittam was technical director and marketing manager for Yonming Auto and Industrial Equipment SDN BHD, a parts distributor in Kuala Lumpur.
