Tank Tex now is open for business in Kemah, Texas.
The full-service tank trailer repair and maintenance facility, which secured its Certificate of Authorization and “R” stamp from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors on April 29, features a five-bay shop with offices located on 13.5 acres of cleared land at 2514 Anders Lane.
“The tank truck industry continues to see consolidation not just in carriers but also in service providers,” said Kevin Jackson, Liquid Cargo and U.S. Container Depot president, who is backing the new business. “It was our goal to take our knowledge in providing high-level customer service and combine it with the experience of Charlie Dill Sr. and his team to create a local service provider that delivers high-quality work for its customers.”
Tank Tex is new to the market, but its veteran staff is well known inside Greater Houston, the company said. Dill, Tank Tex general manager, boasts 30 years of tank trailer repair and maintenance experience, and the Tank Tex staff has over 75 years of combined experience in the industry and area.
“Tank Tex is open and ready for business,” the company stated in a news release. “Whether the work be at our facility in Kemah, Texas, or if you need us to travel to your facility for an on-site repair, Tank Tex is your one-stop shop for all your tank trailer repair and service needs.”
