Liquid Transport Corp (LTC) has again received the Indiana Quality Improvement Award, which recognizes and encourages companies in their quests for excellence and improved service. Greenfield IN-based LTC was also a recipient in 1996.
The State of Indiana Quality Improvement Award is presented by the State of Indiana and administered by the Indiana Modernization and Technology Corp (BMT). The award recognizes manufacturers or other organizations that have achieved measurable progress in improving quality. Gov Frank O'Bannon established the award in 1995.
LTC also has earned Novartis Crop Protection's Bulk Carrier of the Year Award for 2000. This is the second time the carrier has won this award. The award recognizes LTC's commitment to quality transportation service while maintaining an ongoing commitment to safety and the distribution code of the CMA Responsible Care initiative.
To commemorate the occasion, Novartis hosted a luncheon at LTC's Kansas City terminal. Dan Acker and Levi Wright of Novartis, Greensboro NC, presented the award. A plaque was presented to the Kansas City team with recognition given to Cari Prater, Tonya Scharer, and the drivers at Kansas City.
