Kenworth Truck Company and Paccar Financial have introduced an extended engine warranty program available to qualifying customers who purchase new Kenworth T680s equipped with Paccar MX-13 engines and finance through Paccar Financial.
Under the program, customers may receive a three-year/400,000-mile comprehensive and aftertreatment extended warranty for the MX-13 when ordered with the T680.
“This joint Kenworth and Paccar Financial program offers qualifying T680 customers an additional one year and 150,000 miles of Paccar MX-13 extended engine warranty coverage valued at up to $3,850,” said Preston Feight, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing.
The T680, which has received US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SmartWay designation, is designed to maximize performance in linehaul, pick-up and delivery, and regional hauling operations. Available with a 76-inch sleeper or as a day cab, the T680 is standard with the new MX-13 engine, which offers fuel efficiency, reliability and durability, lightweight design, and low cost of ownership. The MX-13 is rated up to 500 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque.
The offer is available on Kenworth trucks ordered between January 1 and December 31, 2013, and financed through Paccar Financial no later than March 31, 2014. There is a maximum quantity of 20 units per customer.
