Volvo Trucks North America was honored by the National Business Group on Health as one of the nation’s leading corporations for innovative programs to promote a healthy workplace, and for helping its employees make better choices about their own health and well-being.

The Volvo Group, of which Volvo Trucks is part, was one of 63 employers that received the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award in Washington DC recently. Volvo received a Platinum Award for its wellness program, one of only 17 companies to receive the highest-level award.

Now in its fifth year, the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles awards recognize employers that have embraced a culture of wellness and are working collaboratively to improve their workers’ health, productivity, and quality of life.
