PeopleNet has appointed Craig Dillon as its chief technology officer. Most recently, he was vice president at Fair Isaac Corp., a Minneapolis MN-based provider of decision management technology and advanced analytics.

Eric Morris, Grote Industries president and chief operating officer, celebrated his 30-year anniversary with the company recently. The native of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, played hockey in the Detroit Red Wing organization before joining Grote. Morris joined Grote Canada Ltd. in 1978 as general manager and was eventually named president. His performance led to his promotion in 2000 to executive vice-president of Grote Industries in Madison IN. Grote Industries has promoted Matt Forner to director of aftermarket sales. Forner began his career at the firm in 1993, and his most recent role was Traditional Division sales manager.

Ron Alvarez has joined Phillips Industries as national sales manager-OE service. He previously spent more than 18 years with DENSO Sales California, mostly in its OES sales group focusing on sales expansion of OES accounts for automotive products, and in the development of Latin American business.

Oil Purification Systems (OPS) announced that Howie Heaton has joined the company as vice president of sales. Formerly director of sales and marketing for a division of Bergstrom Manufacturing in Rockford IL, he brings 11 years of experience within the commercial trucking, off-highway, and specialty vehicle industries.

Srikanth Padmanabhan, managing director of Cummins Generator Technologies for the past four years, has been selected to head Cummins Emission Solutions and has been named a vice-president of Cummins Inc. He will be based in Columbus IN.

Rick Kempski has joined Webb Wheel Products as vice president-marketing. With more than 20 years' experience in the commercial vehicle industry, he most recently was director of new products and business development for the Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Division of ArvinMeritor. Fred Brown has been named director of fleet business development — a newly created position — for Webb.. He comes to the company from the Marmon Highway Technology (MHT) group, where he was director of business development/Freightliner LLC.
