Heil Trailer International announces the addition of Greg Hewitt as president-North America, responsible for North American operations, sales, and growth

Heil Trailer International announces the addition of Greg Hewitt as president-North America, responsible for North American operations, sales, and growth within the region. He reports to Andy Fincher, president of HTI. The firm also has promoted Jessica Greene to communications manager-HTI Consolidated. She will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing internal and external communications strategies for Heil and its affiliated business units.

Midland Manufacturing, a division of the OPW Fluid Transfer Group, has hired Zack Gorny as the company's new director of supply chain. He will work out of the Skokie IL headquarters. Gorny comes to Midland after spending eight years in several supply chain roles, including strategic buyer and manager of strategic sourcing with Schindler Elevator of Niles IL.

Nirmal Tolani recently assumed duties as director of business development for Hendrickson International Operations and will be based in Woodridge IL. He comes to Hendrickson from Navistar International Truck and Engine Division at Fort Wayne IN, where most recently he was manager, metallic materials and specifications. John Parr recently assumed duties as vice president of international business development for Hendrickson. He will be based in the United Kingdom but will spend considerable time in the United States working with the firm's leadership team. Parr comes to Hendrickson from Knorr-Bremse, Munich, Germany, and most recently served as the Asia Pacific Truck chief operating officer based in Hong Kong, China.

Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, a Cleveland OH-based business unit of Alcoa Inc., has promoted Victor Marquez to global vice president of marketing-AWTP. In his new role, after joining Alcoa Mill Products in 1994 as a sales representative, he transferred to Alcoa Wheel Products in 1999 and most recently served as director of marketing for commercial vehicle wheels.

Fontaine International has hired Emma Thompson as vice president of finance and Paige Dahlke as controller. Thompson was Fontaine Inter-national's controller from 2002 to 2005, and for the past three years, she has served as assistant sector controller for Fontaine's parent company, Marmon Highway Technologies. Dahlke has 15 years of financial management experience. Immediately before joining Fontaine Parts Connection, she was chief financial officer for American Pipe & Supply, a wholesale pipe and plumbing warehouse distributor.

W. Marvin Rush, founder and chairman of Rush Enterprises Inc., received the 2008 Truck Dealer of the Year Award, sponsored jointly by Heavy Duty Trucking magazine and the American Truck Dealers (ATD) division of the National Automobile Dealers Association. He was selected by an independent team of judges at Indiana University Kelley School of Business. The award was presented at the opening general session of the 45th annual ATD Convention & Exposition in Dallas TX recently.
