OPW Engineered Systems, part of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, a Dover company, announced that Jeff Reichert has been appointed general manager. This appointment follows the recent promotion of the company's former president, Tim Warning, to president of OPW Fluid Transfer Group. Reichert, who will report directly to Warning, previously served as director, quality and poductivity for OPW Engineered Systems since November 2006.

AmeriGas Propane Inc, general partner of AmeriGas Partners LP, reported that Marvin O Schlanger has been elected a director. Schlanger has been a director of UGI Corporation, a 44% owner of AmeriGas Partners, since 1998. He is a principal in the firm of Cherry Hill Chemical Investments LLC, vice chairman of Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc, and a director of Momentive Performance Materials Inc and UGI Utilities Inc. Concurrently, James W Stratton retired from the AmeriGas board after nearly 15 years of service.

FIBA Technologies Inc announces the addition of John Finn as business development manager. Most recently, he worked as an associate at Covington Associates, where he was instrumental in providing strategic financial advisory services to key industrial and healthcare firms in the Northeast.

Dr. Reiner Beutel has been named chief executive officer of SAF-Holland Group GmbH. His predecessor, Rudi Ludwig, has retired from day-to-day operations effective February 28, 2009, but will remain on the board of directors. Beutel has held board of directors seats for Haldex AB, KUKA AG, and Mirror Controls International. He previously served as CEO and chief financial officer of Schefenacker AG in Schwaikheim, Germany.

Chris Koch has been appointed president of Carlisle Industrial Brake & Friction. He joined Carlisle in 2008 as president of Carlisle Asia Pacific and previously was both regional and divisional vice president at Graco Inc. in Minneapolis MN.

Daimler Trucks Remarketing Corporation (DTR) has named Rich Simons as its new president, tapping the former director of used-truck sales to lead the corporation. Simons has been with the company since 1998.

Accuride Corporation's board of directors has appointed William M. “Bill” Lasky, the firm's president and chief executive officer, to the additional role of chairman of the board, effective immediately. He succeeds Terrence J. “Terry” Keating, who has tendered his resignation as the board's chairman and as a director.

Kimberly Theken, a 13-year trucking industry veteran, has been named the new implementation manager at Tenstreet LLC. Prior to joining Tenstreet, she worked for three years at Arrow Trucking in Tulsa OK as driver personnel manager and supervised the company's recruiting and retention departments.
