The Great West Truck Show will be held June 9-11, 2011, at the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center. Some of the events at the 2011 GWTS include the Custom Rigs Pride & Polish Truck Beauty Competition, educational seminars sponsored by the California Trucking Association, and exhibits from hundreds of industry manufacturers and suppliers.
Also at GWTS, the Midnight Trucking Radio Network’s Summertime Extravaganza will begin. This annual event centers on GWTS and the Walcott Jamboree at the Iowa 80 truckstop in Walcott IA. This year, MTRN will host activities in Las Vegas from June 9-11 and in Walcott July 14-15.
Attendees are invited to stop by participating sponsor booths to pick up a “King of Hearts” card for a chance to take a free spin on the “Spin-to-Win” roulette wheel at the MTRN booth (#2110) While at the booth, folks can also register to win $1,000 cash and hundreds of prizes given away on-site.
This year’s activities are sponsored by Mobil Delvac, Motel 6, Progressive Insurance, and Mercer Transportation.
At the Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, drivers can win cash and ride the sponsor shuttle to and from festivities. Eric Harley, host of MTRN, will be on hand both days to meet people and pick the winner of the $500 cash giveaway July 15.
