July 15, 2015

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is expanding its Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Network with the opening of three Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers.

The new centers--located in Dearborn MI, Montgomery AL, and Garland TX--underscore Goodyear’s commitment to supplying fleets with premium Goodyear truck tires, retreads and services, according to Paul Wanstreet, president of Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers.

“These state-of-the-art centers are important pieces in our expanding Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Network,” he said. “They enable us to more effectively serve trucking operations, whether they are based in Dearborn, Montgomery or Garland, or are passing through.”

The new facilities offer the following products and services:

• New Goodyear, Dunlop, and Kelly brand medium truck tires, including Goodyear’s new Fuel Max LHD G505D and Fuel Max LHS tires, with innovative, low rolling resistance fuel compounds to help trucking fleets save money by lowering their fuel consumption

• Goodyear retreads, including those that contain Goodyear’s spliceless UniCircle Technology

• Goodyear-Fleet HQ 24/7 Emergency Roadside Service, which has helped more than one million trucks return to service and offers an industry-leading, average roll-time of two hours and 11 minutes

• Tire balancing services, and more
