EcoDual, LLC, a leading provider of diesel-to-natural-gas dual fuel conversion systems for heavy duty diesel trucks and Freightliner of Arizona, a major dealership of Freightliner trucks, the largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer in the US, have announced a distribution and servicing agreement to deliver and support the EcoDual product line.
EcoDual claims that its natural gas-to-diesel fuel substitution rate is the highest among all available dual-fuel conversion kits, providing enormous fuel cost savings of 30% and the shortest return on investment. The cost of the dual fuel system is often recovered in operational savings within one year without any government incentives, according to EcoDual executives.
"Freightliner of Arizona connects EcoDual directly into the largest original-equipment truck network in the US," says Scott Myers, EcoDual CEO and president. "Freightliner of Arizona will be the conduit for bringing together a national network of Freightliner dealers to sell and support the EcoDual product line. Freightliner of Arizona will roll out the EcoDual product line through its four Arizona dealerships in Tolleson, Chandler, Flagstaff, and Tucson. "EcoDual natural gas conversion delivers tremendous fuel cost savings to our customers," says Danny Cuzick, Freightliner of Arizona owner and president, "Additionally, we are building a network of natural gas stations through our sister company, EVO CNG. The EcoDual conversions will enable many more fleet owners to use our CNG stations and reap the cost-reduction benefits of lower-priced natural gas."
EcoDual, LLC, is an independent provider of patent pending, dual fuel conversion systems enabling existing heavy duty diesel trucks to operate on a combination of diesel and natural gas. In dual fuel operation, the trucks maintain full torque and power with no loss of miles per gallon. Systems can be configured for a range of more than 900 miles on CNG or LNG. Equally important, there is no "range anxiety" with EcoDual systems as they automatically run 100% diesel if the natural gas tank ever runs out.
