The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has announced its endorsement of Vigillo LLC’s Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) 2010 Scorecard as an effective program to help large and small trucking companies manage their responsibilities under the current CSA 2010 regulations. The CSA 2010 Scorecard offered by Vigillo draws from the same carrier and driver data sources as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
The scorecard applies the same methodologies used by FMCSA to calculate carriers’ CSA 2010 Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASIC) Measures and Percentile in nine pilot states. It also allows carriers an advanced look at their drivers’ safety record and the impact of those records on the carriers’ Fitness Score under CSA 2010. The Vigillo CSA 2010 Scorecard is considered its Gold Scorecard Subscription level and acts as both a Carrier Scorecard and a Driver Scorecard. The CSA 2010 initiative will replace the FMCSA’s SafeStat program in summer 2010.
