Professional business sessions announced for 2016 ATA Executive Leadership Forum

The American Trucking Associations announced the topics for eight sessions at the 2016 ATA Executive Leadership Forum on February 29 in Nashville TN. The Forum will be held in conjunction with the ATA Technology & Maintenance Council's (TMC) 2016 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition.

Designed specifically for trucking executives, the Forum's no-nonsense, educational business sessions will be:

• Differentiating Your Trucking Company in a Competitive Marketplace: How to Become a Carrier of Choice Among the Shipping Community

• Purchasing Power: Financing, Corporate Cards and Group Buying Leverage

• The Pros and Cons of Cloud Computing: Which Trucking Functions are Appropriate for the Cloud?

• Improving Business Processes Among Fleets, Dealers and OEMs

• Effectively Dealing with Brokers and Third-Party Logistics Providers

• Fleet Executive’s Guide to Disaster Recovery and Business Resiliency Planning

• The Evolution of Truck Safety: Lane Departure, Electronic Stability Control, and Data/Video Capture Technologies

• Company Security and the Ins and Outs of Background Checks: Guidelines for Performing a Corporate-wide Risk Assessment

In addition, Forum participants will be invited to attend the opening of the TMC Transportation and Technology Exhibition Hall, with 350,000 square feet of exhibit space and the only 2016 venue where every OEM and major component supplier will display their latest North American models. There will also be a luncheon and a VIP reception in this jammed-packed one-day event.
