Volvo Financial Services has appointed Leo Hawkes president of its Region the Americas operations, with responsibility for the North America, Latin America, and South Africa markets. He will be based in Volvo Financial Services' Greensboro NC headquarters and report to Martin Weissburg. Hawkes replaces Weissburg, who has been appointed president of Volvo Financial Services global operations. Most recently, Hawkes was chief financial officer for the Americas.
Tricouni Enterprises, St Cloud MN, has named Ed Mansell to fill the position of president for its new Centerline Tank and Trailer Manufacturing company, located in Sauk Centre MN. The firm is a blend of two existing firms: Engle Fabrication of Sauk Centre and R-Way Trailer Manufacturing of Long Prairie MN. Mansell joins Centerline from his most recent position with Acro Trailer, Springfield MO.
TMW Systems Inc has named Michael J Kelly director of development for its Innovative software products. Most recently he held the position of vice-president, operations for Tranztec Solutions. Kelly will be based in suburban Nashville at the TMW office in Brentwood TN.
Eaton Corporation has named Gerard DeVito director-engineering for the Vehicle Group's Hybrid Power Systems Division. He will continue to be based in Galesburg MI. Most recently, he was director-Global Engineering Centers of Excellence for the Vehicle Group.
Tom Flies has joined Qualcomm Enterprise Services as senior director of product management. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in product management, business development, sales, and engineering. Most recently, he was senior vice-president of product marketing at Xata.
Cline Wood Agency Inc has added Jack Gagliardi as vice-president and director of the Independent Contractor Division. He recently served as Transportation Division national practice leader for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and as practice leader for Marsh Transportation. Gagliardi also has worked with the Transportation Industry Defense Association, been a board member of the Truckload Carriers Association, and been an active member of the American Trucking Associations.
