Drones over storage terminals

Issues related to drones will be on the luncheon menu during the International Liquid Terminals Association’s 35th Annual International Operating Conference. Charles Raley, with the Federal Aviation Administration, will address the issue of drones during the conference lunch on Monday, June 1.

Raley will provide an overview of the proposed requirements for the use of unmanned aircraft systems (drones) by commercial entities as well as hobbyists. He will also discuss potential applications for drone use at industrial facilities and examine the implications of the FAA's rule on storage terminals.  

ILTA's 35th Annual International Operating Conference and Trade Show will take place June 1-3 at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston TX.
