Titan Logix Corp reported the shipping of a record number of its TD80 Level Transmitters. Les Evans, chief executive officer of the company, announced Titan’s largest single TD80 order to date.

“On September 29th, Titan shipped a record number of TD80s to one of our US-based customers,” he said. “This order, which was more than 25 times our average order, was received in late August and was shipped one day earlier than promised. This is a reflection on our team’s agility, and our continued commitment to our customers. We were able to accommodate this substantial order while maintaining regular shipment activity for the month.”

The TD80 Level Transmitter is Titan’s guided wave radar device used in the transportation industry. It uses radar to measure the liquid level in a tank then converts this measurement to useable units and sends the information to a display or monitoring unit. Using no moving parts, this technology provides safe and reliable level measurement and spill prevention in a variety of liquids and applications.

Greg McGillis, president and chief operating officer, said Titan’s recent decision to strengthen its core business has allowed manufacturing to become more versatile.

“With over 1,975 oil rigs currently drilling in the United States, approximately 500 currently drilling in western Canada, and market indicators showing a high level of sustained activity, we anticipate continued growth over 2011-12,” he said.
