Trimac Transportation, one of the largest bulk carriers in North America, recently announced a new commercial driver's license tuition reimbursement program in the United States.
"Professional CDL-A drivers are the backbone of the transportation industry and keep America moving," said Tonja Wilhelms, US recruiting manager for Trimac. "With that in mind, we at Trimac want to invest in those individuals who want to pursue this career by assisting with out-of-pocket tuition costs incurred in making this rewarding career choice. We are passionate about our drivers and want to make Trimac a preferred place to work as students begin to explore the many job possibilities presented to them upon graduation."
The new tuition reimbursement program will pay qualifying students monthly until the tuition has been fully reimbursed or the employee is no longer with the company, up to a maximum of $5,000. To be eligible for this program, drivers must attend a Trimac-approved driving school.
