Effective June 1, 2009, Martin Daum will become head of Daimler Trucks North America. He will replace Chris Patterson, who will retire after 32 years

Effective June 1, 2009, Martin Daum will become head of Daimler Trucks North America. He will replace Chris Patterson, who will retire after 32 years of service to the North American commercial vehicle industry, 11 of them with DTNA. Daum is currently head of operations at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Woerth (Germany). Also effective June 1, Dr. Albert Kirchmann will become head of Daimler Trucks Asia, and will also be president and chief executive officer of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation. He will replace Harald Boelstler, who is to retire June 30 after a career of more than 30 years at the Daimler Group. Kirchmann is currently head of Finance & Controlling, Business and Product Planning at Daimler Trucks & Buses.

Blackmer, a Pump Solutions Group (PSG) company, has announced the promotion of Tom Madden to managing director. He joined Blackmer more than 30 years ago as a member of its manufacturing management team and by 1997, he had advanced to the position of chief financial officer.

David Johanneson has been named president and chief executive officer of Navistar Financial Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation. Johanneson has held several sales, marketing, and management roles at Navistar over the past 36 years, most recently as group vice president of Global Sales, Marketing, and Distribution. He is based at Navistar Financial's headquarters in Schaumburg IL.

Phillips Industries of Santa Fe Springs CA has promoted Randy Walker to national sales manager for the aftermarket. Walker joined Phillips as regional sales manager in 2003.

Patrick Collignon was named plant manager at Volvo Trucks North America's New River Valley Plant in Dublin VA. He assumed his new role in December 2008. From 2005 until taking on his current position, Collignon was general manager of Volvo Trucks' Ghent, Belgium, plant, Volvo's largest truck plant in Europe.

Pressure Systems International (PSI) has named Debra Moore as its Salesperson of the Year for 2008. In her sales territory covering 16 states, she increased the sales volumes and customer counts by more than 20% in tough economic conditions. Moore has been with PSI for five years and has worked in the trucking industry for 18-plus years.

Eaton Corporation announced that Eric Zahrai has been named manager for Aftertreatment Marketing and Strategic Partners for its Truck Group. Zahrai, who joined Eaton in 1986, most recently was sales and marketing manager-Europe.
