THE NATIONAL Tank Truck Carriers spouse program begins Monday, May 10 with a meet-and-greet reception and light refreshments at the Marriott Magnificent Mile. The reception runs from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The spouse program continues on Tuesday, May 11 with a tour and lunch at the Art Institute of Chicago, widely recognized as one of the finest art museums in the country. NTTC spouses will have a private 60-minute gallery tour of the museum by a professional docent highlighting the various exhibits both permanent and temporary. Lunch will follow in the Millennium Part Room of the Art Institute.

The Art Institute houses some of the world's finest art collections dating from 3,000 BC through the 1990's. In addition to its fine collections of Oriental, modern, and photographic art, the museum hosts one of the richest collections of French Impressionist works in the world.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano, the Modern Wing provides a new home for the museum's collection of 20th- and 21st-Century art. Now a decade in the making, this 264,000 square-foot building makes the Art Institute the second largest art museum in the United States.

The building is home to the museum's world-renowned collections of modern European painting and sculpture, contemporary art, architecture and design, and photography. The extraordinary scope and quality of these collections are a revelation; each displayed more comprehensively than ever before. The Modern Wing allows the Art Institute to take its rightful place as one of the world's great collections of modern and contemporary art.
