Odfjell Holdings (US) has completed its purchase of a 20-acre terminal in North Charleston SC. The new terminal will consist of 40 tanks with deep draft on the shipping channel, dual rail, and highway access.

“This will be a great supplement to our existing terminal in Houston and our worldwide tank terminal network. When combined with our shipping network, the new facility will provide additional distribution options for our customers, delivering more efficiency to their supply chains,” said Dave Ellis, president, Odfjell Terminals (Houston).

“The excellent transportation connectivity of this site including access to Charleston’s deep shipping channel and dual rail service by CSX and Norfolk Southern were the main catalysts in selling this site,” said Amanda Kitchen of Colliers International. Amanda Kitchen and Hagood Morrison of Colliers International brokered the sale of this site and specialize in private port terminal facilities along the East Coast.
