Golf is on the agenda for the National Tank Truck Carriers Political Action Committee, which will host its annual outing on Sunday, May 6, prior to the opening of the NTTC Annual Conference in San Franciso, California. The golf outing will take place at TPC Harding Park (http://www.tpc.com/tpc.asp?id=7&page=86).

Golfweek ranks TPC Harding Park 13th among municipal courses in the United States and one of the top 25 courses to play in California. The course was designed by Willie Watson and Sam Whiting, who also designed the nearby Olympic Club. Those planning on playing this year will need to remit a personal check for a $375 contribution made payable to the National Tank Truck Carriers Political Action Committee.

Please note that tee times will start promptly at 7:30 am and ground transportation will be provided to all golfers. Participants will depart for the course at 6:30 am from the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel. The personal contribution covers transportation, breakfast, greens fees, cart fees, course gratuities, and scoring.

In addition and more importantly, the donation will help strengthen the tank truck industry's voice on the local and national levels, according to Dan Furth, assistant treasurer, NTTC PAC. As the PAC event is 100% self-funded, no association dues can or will be expended.
