The South Louisiana Chapter of the National Safety Council (NSC) recently presented Dupré Logistics with the Occupational Safety Award of Merit for two million to four million hours worked. The award, presented during the 59th annual meeting and The Clem Buckman Occupational and Fleet Safety Awards Banquet, reflects doubled productivity on the part of Dupré Logistics compared with years past.

“Being the recipient of this award for many years demonstrates our ongoing commitment to safe service,” said Dupré Logistics Director of Safety and Security Al LaCombe. “This recognition means a lot to our team, whose dedication to safety is part of everything they do.”

The South Louisiana Chapter of the NSC’s mission is to promote accident prevention in all fields of safety through education and proper means as well as through assistance to all involved in accident prevention. The NSC’s bylaws state that the organization saves lives by preventing injuries and deaths at work, in homes, communities, and on the roads through leadership, research, education, and advocacy.
