The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has begun the initial enrollment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for the ports of Lafayette LA, Eureka CA, Riverhead NY, Lindenhurst NY, and Stockton CA.
TWIC enrollment begins in Lafayette July 10, 2008; Eureka July 16, 2008; Riverhead July 23, 2008; Lindenhurst July 30, 2008; and Stockton August 13, 2008. Other ports conducting the program announced earlier can be found online at the TSA Web site tsagov.
