Tank truck carrier, Miller Transporters Inc has been named a “Readers’ Choice” award winner by Logistics Management magazine in the annual Quest for Quality survey. This marks the 19th time Miller has received this award, according to Lee Miller, Miller Transporters president.
Miller also won the Customer Service category. “Miller employees take great pride in being selected another year as a ‘Readers’ Choice,’ winner,” Miller said.
The survey, conducted by the Peerless Research Group, is the largest, most comprehensive customer-perception study of transportation companies available and has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.
The award is based on a carrier’s rating in the areas of on-time performance, value, customer service, information technology, and equipment and operations. Only carriers that excel in all five areas achieve the “Readers’ Choice” designation.
