Miller Transporters was recognized at the annual Responsible Care Conference and Expo as one of the three recipients of the prestigious Responsible Care Partner of the Year award, selected from a pool of 102 companies that participate in the program. This marks the fourth time Miller Transporters has received this honor in the award’s six-year history.
The Responsible Care Partner of the Year award is the highest award a Responsible Care Partner can receive from the American Chemistry Council each year. It is presented to companies that show a strong commitment in leadership and continuous improvement in the program’s cornerstone areas of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S).
“Receiving this prestigious award for the fourth time emphasizes our employees' and contractors' understanding of our policies and procedures as well as their commitment to helping Miller Transporter continually improve in the areas of EHS&S,” said Brent Cobb, Miller’s vice-president of safety and quality.
Over the years, the Responsible Care program has grown to help the member and partner companies significantly enhance their performance, discover new business opportunities, improve employee safety, the health of the communities in which they operate, and the environment as a whole, moving us toward a safer, more sustainable future.
