March 22, 2017

Drivers and fleet managers attending the Mid-America Trucking Show this week are invited to attend an informative free panel discussion on practical ways to get more miles per gallon presented by a group of trucking industry experts. The panel, hosted by Shell Rotella, will be held March 23 from 11:15 am-12:15 pm in conference room B104 located in the South Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center and will be moderated by Red Eye Radio host Eric Harley and veteran trucking journalist Steve Sturgess.

The panel will discuss practical ways drivers can increase their fuel efficiency through the use of currently available technologies and best practices. This includes low viscosity lubricants, improved tractor and trailer aerodynamics, low rolling resistance tires, and more. The panel will discuss how combining these learnings and products together can result in a significant increase in fuel economy and reduce the amount of fuel you use. This can result in adding more money to your bottom line.

Panelists include Dan Arcy from Shell Lubricants, Mike Roeth with the North American Council on Fuel Efficiency (NACFE) and TJ Tennent from Bridgestone Commercial Tires.
