Marathon Oil Corp has presented its Sixth Annual Fleet Safety and Performance Awards to members of Marathon’s proprietary fleet operations group and its third-party carrier business partners.
Marathon said the fleets are recognized for excellence in environmental, safety, and delivery performance.
The winners include:
•Gold Level, Marathon Ohio South Region, run outs; AD Conner Inc, station blends; Marathon Midwest Region, environmental stewardship; Marathon Southeast Region, fleet image; The McKinley Group, administrative oversight; Marathon Oil Michigan Region, safety and operational oversight; Marathon Oil South Region, customer service; and The McKinley Group, overflow carrier.
•Silver Level, Liquid Transport Corp, run outs; Brenner Oil Co, station blends; Usher Transport Inc, environmental stewardship; Brenner Oil Co, fleet image; Bay Transportation, administrative oversight; Crystal Flash Energy, safety and operational oversight; Manito Transit, customer service; and SOCI Petroleum Inc and Lewis Transport, overflow carrier.
In addition, 2007 Fleet of the Year awards were presented to: Marathon Transport Region, Marathon Ohio South and Marathon Ohio (runner-up); Large Carrier, The McKinley Group and AD Conner (runner-up); and Small Carrier, Crystal Flash (fifth straight win) and Brenner Oil Company (runner-up).
