Researchers in the Center for Excellence in Rural Safety at the University of Minnesota have mapped out all fatal car accidents that occurred in the United States in 2006 and posted the information online

Researchers in the Center for Excellence in Rural Safety at the University of Minnesota have mapped out all fatal car accidents that occurred in the United States in 2006 and posted the information online.

Information includes details of the fatal accidents such as location, time and date, speeding, alcohol involvement, seat belt use, and age and gender of driver and passengers. An aerial view is available of the locations as well as a close-up photograph of the accident sites.

The information can be learned by accessing saferoadmaps.org and typing in an address or state.
