The Kenan Advantage Group Inc (KAG) has completed an acquisition of the assets of Washington-based Reinhard Transportation.

Headquartered in Federal Way WA, Reinhard provides fuel transportation services through its long-term drivers and equipment. It operates primarily in the Northwest region of the United States along with Canada. As a leading petroleum transportation company in this region, the company conducts business out of 11 terminal locations, employs approximately 160 people, and operates 64 trucks.

According to Dennis Nash, president and chief executive officer of KAG, Reinhard meets all of the criteria for a successful acquisition. “Reinhard Transportation is a best-in-class operation with a strong management team, exceptional image, experienced driver base, and an excellent safety record,” Nash said. “We are extremely encouraged by the opportunities Reinhard will provide us as we grow our national footprint in a region we’ve been pursuing for a long time. Reinhard gives us a solid foundation to build upon as we expand our operations into the Northwest and Canada.”

“For our company to continue to grow long-term, we needed to have a lot of horsepower behind us,” said Tony Reinhard, president of Reinhard Transportation. “KAG was by far the best choice to take our operations to the next level. By combining our regional expertise with their size and resources, we expect to enhance the services we currently provide our customers, while attracting new business in this very competitive marketplace.”
